Pups@Play is a full-service pet health and wellness facility offering a spectrum of comprehensive services that help simplify the journey of dog ownership. When it comes to finding the perfect home away from home for your four-legged pal, we’ve got everything you’re looking for.

Our experienced and attentive staff caters to the needs of each individual dog we serve, providing personalized playtime, taking them on regular outdoor walks, and so much more. All dogs are supervised by a team member who has been trained to monitor their health and activity levels. 

Our regular social media updates, photos, and videos allow you to follow your dog throughout the day with just the click of a button!

Our Team

Dr. Stephen Weiner, DVM

Dr. Stephen Weiner was born and raised in Livingston, N.J. He attended Kansas State University where he received his undergraduate as well as his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Weiner then worked with his father Dr Bernard Weiner, also a veterinarian for many years in Livingston.

Dr. Weiner had a commitment to the veterinary profession. He was very active in the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and served on many committees. In 1988 he served as president of the state association. Dr. Weiner is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).

His myriad of outside interests includes fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his amazing family. He mostly enjoys going to the Jersey Shore with his children and grandchildren during the summer to fish and relax on the beach.

Dr. Weiner has a strong background in surgery and internal medicine. He enjoys his relationships with his patients and their owners. Dr. Weiner has always wanted to be a veterinarian and feels lucky to be literally living his dream every day he comes into the office.

“I enjoy helping families keep their pets healthy from the beginning through the golden years. I enjoy soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care. My favorite visits are new puppies and kittens where the whole family is along.”

Dr. Ginny Talik, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Ginny Talik graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with her BS in biology. She then went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year of vet school at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She took externships to South Africa and Guatemala where she worked extensively with wildlife and did rotations with wildlife & exotics to learn more about their care. She has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2020.

Dr. Talik has her Fear Free Certification, and her focus is to provide top quality care to all animals with the compassion they deserve. Some of her other areas of interest are surgery and pain management. She is always working to stay up to date with the gold standards of care and learn new skills that may better help her patients, including alternative therapies. She also plans to continue expanding her knowledge on exotics to provide care for them.

When Dr. Talik isn't working, she's at home with her wife and son. They also have a packed house with two dogs and four cats.
